Mini Parenting Consulation - for instagram

A mini-session* is where we can strategize how to move forward, with guidance of a Blanca’s experience as a licensed child psychotherapist.

Whether you’re in the midst of a season of tricky behavior and big emotions, want to prepare your child for a big transition, or you’re simply wanting to learn more about how to approach parenting with respect and science in mind… and you don't know where to start.

YOU WILL:

• Get some answers, and gain some clarity about the developmental stage behind your child’s behavior and emotions.

• Identify the unique strengths in your ongoing efforts (yes, you are already doing amazing things for your child) so can use them as anchors for continuing to build a positive relationship with your child through the ongoing challenge that aligns with your values, goals, and culture.

• Leave with at least one strategy to apply at home to navigate your current concern, knowing it’s coming from a practitioner informed by formal clinical psychology training, and almost a decade of experience as a psychotherapist and psychosocial science researcher.

• Receive recommendations for additional resources (from books to outside referrals), including clarification of how additional consultations can be of benefit to support your parenting journey.
